A ten-millimetre tag has to carry a barcode, print both sides and hang. What this trade tests is die-cutting accuracy, not printing.
Below 10 × 20 mm a fraction of a millimetre off and the blade clips the barcode. Small formats need their own tooling, not a slot on a standard layout.
Brand on the front, barcode on the back, a punched hole for the string. Registration has to hold within half a millimetre to look right.
The same tag goes through hundreds of scans; a paper surface furs up and stops reading. Silver PET or a laminated face lasts.

Two-sided print, punched and strung, from 10 × 20 mm.

No furring under constant scanning; water and sweat resistant.

Larger price tags and packing labels at the lowest cost.
